We have had a few questions regarding Sullivan so we would like to address them just to keep everybody in the loop.
Unfortunately, there is a small group of individuals who have nothing better to do with their time than criticize everything we do including our participation in connecting owners with potential new homes. We don't take umbridge in their comments or activities because we are true to what we do. However, at this point, it is making other rescues rethink sharing horses in need that are not part of their organization. This is a huge issue because even with all of us working together, we cannot bring in every horse and we need to be able to use our networks for the better.
Anyone involved in rescue knows it is not perfect and over the years we have taken in horses adopted out by other rescues. We are all in this together with the goal of finding homes for horses in need. We just wanted to clarify these issues for anyone with concerns. The important part is that he is now safe and we would like say another thank you to Tara for making space for him on our behalf.
