He is a darling boy who was polite to handle, loaded and unloaded well and just wants to please. He is very quiet, good with the other horses (submissive in a herd), good with his feet, etc. Trooper is in need of some more weight and has quite a few bite marks, but will look great after a bit of TLC! He is otherwise sound and healthy.
He was track-broke, but had an accident in pasture resulting in him being over-the-knee, so he never raced. His previous owner started him in English gear back in 2011 and had him on the trails a few times. He is 100% SOUND when ridden in the past, despite his knee and it hasn't stopped him from doing any pleasure work.
