We had the massage therapist out for our new kids today :)
Cooper was very well-behaved and very quiet for her. She made a few minor adjustments to his lumbar and neck, but said he is in great shape structurally. He does have some inflammation in his back right leg, but he is sound on it and has good mobility overall. With some more weight and muscle tone he will be great!
Muffie took a minute to loosen up when it was her turn, but she was very easy to handle. She needed more adjusting than Cooper, but there were no major issues. We both believe her to be a Morgan or gaited breed as she has a longer back and stands like a Tennessee Walker. The massage therapist said there are no structural reasons for the stance, so it is a habitual or breed thing. We also think that she is probably around 18+ years old while Cooper is around mid-twenties.
All-in-all a very good report for both :) Huge thank you to Jennifer for coming out and giving these two some most deserved TLC!
