His adopter has gotten as far as she can in working with him and is looking for a person willing to take him on the last leg of his ' emotional/mental rehab' journey.
In the past, James was shown and trained to level three Dressage and then did mostly pleasure and trails and is a great, well-schooled boy, but he does have an unpredictable streak and because of this, he is only for a very experienced horse person.
He has been working with Will Clinging for the last few months.

What it seems that James needs at this point is a more experienced handler who has the physical and mental capacity to work with James and give him the help he needs to come all the way around. His owner hopes the right person will be willing to spend time with James in different situations and be willing to visit their farm and spend time with Will Clinging to get a 'jist' of where James is at.
Latest Update (April 12, 2013)
This is the first time Will rode James 'with purpose' (video below), as Will has been mainly doing ground work and sessions with James's leaser.
I do appreciate your honesty regarding James in his bio. It might not find him a home quick, but the home he does find will probably be the right one. He DOES look lovely when in the ring in the appropriate hands though, no?
