Adopted: September 13, 2011
Kentucky Princess has been home for almost three weeks now and her new family has nothing but great things to say about her:
"Kieanna, my daughter, rides her every day and we cant believe how nicely she been trained. Her manners are sweet, sweet, sweet! Everyone loves her, not just us. We are very happy to have princess. Cant thank you enough. Oh she has a buddy now too."
Another happy and successful adoption ♥ Congratulations Sherry, Kieanna and Princess.
AGE: 7 y/o (DOB: February 9th, 2004)
Her owners bought her in the USA a couple years ago for $25,000 and she raced up at Hastings Race Park. After that, they used her as a broodmare.
She is a very sweet and quiet girl. She loads and trailers well and is good with other horses. She is very polite on the ground and on the lead. She always walks behind your shoulder and doesn't crowd you. She is well-behaved on the roads and not bothered by cars, trucks, semis, bridges, 4-way stops or dogs.
She is broke to ride and under-saddle, she is super smooth and easy. She has great transitions and is very balanced through the walk, trot and canter. She is broke to ride and under-saddle, she is super smooth and easy. She has great transitions and is very balanced through the walk, trot and canter. With her gorgeous movement and energetic nature, she would surely excel in the show ring as a dressage horse or hunter/jumper. She would do well with a confident rider who will appreciate both her energy and potential as a competitor. With a bit of regular riding and a gentle hand, this mare will surely be a rock star!
