Adopted: August 11, 2011
Well, this has been a match made in heaven from the beginning!
After only a couple days, her Mom said that "Jane almost seems to good to be true! I can’t believe this horse wasnt adopted for 4 months and no one took her home!? You people were nuts for not taking this girl home!"
We love nothing more then when our adoptees say that. And I know you keep thanking us, Michelle, but seriously, thank you for giving Jane the home she has been here for four months waiting for! Now she has a Mom (and a little sister) who will love and appreciate her for everything she is. I am glad you saw her potential!
BARN NAME: Jane
AGE: 6 y/o (DOB - 05/09/2005)
HEIGHT: 15.2hh approx.
She was surrendered to our program at the beginning of April as she was too slow on the track. She is a very sweet and gentle mare who loads, trailers and ties well. She gets along great with other horses and is also very good with dogs. She is easy to catch, halter and lead and is very polite and respectful of personal space. She is currently barefoot with no issues on the road or the gravel trail.
We have officially started her under-saddle and she is already behaving like a pro! She well balanced and relaxed with a rider. She moves forward well and understands the basic commands including left, right and is starting to learn to back. She is a very good prospect for the show ring due to her athletic build and energetic nature.
