Tim
Tim was rescued by J&M Acres on November 8, 2010. We purchased him at the local stockyard and brought him home. He was very thin and weak after being neglected and even his eyes were worn and tired.
We cared for Tim for about a month and helped him gain some weight back and learn to enjoy human company again. He even started to enjoy being scratched and fussed over.
After a couple of weeks, Tim was starting to look much better.

He won the attention of a lot of our followers and we were all eager to see him go to a new home, which came a couple weeks into December. He now lives in Mission and has human, horse and canine companionship at his new home. His new mom has named him Lenny.
Letter from his new mom:
He is an absolute sweetheart and I love him already . He is settling in nicely and with a bit more time, everyone will get used to him. I let the three boys out to play and Lenny actually kicked up his heels (including a little squeal), which was so nice to see.
Would you believe he actually “cuddles” too? When I fed him his last flake of hay for the day around 9 p.m., he made a point of grabbing a mouthful and then leaning his head right back against me every time, so I could keep rubbing his mane and forehead. We played that game for about 15 minutes :)
The following are some pictures of him at his new home throughout the past couple of months.
