Rolli came to J&M Acres on February 6 2011 with the name of Uli. He is a 6 year old, Fjord gelding who was living on the island.
His previous owner adored him and took good care of him, but needed a horse more suited to her speed. We ended up doing a trade for Uli for an older, well-broke mare that we had gotten in as a surrender and she went home with them the same day they dropped Uli off here! He is a darling and was literally not even here for 24 hours before he was taken to a new family! As soon as he got home, he fit right in today, a month later, he is still doing great! |

Uli is now called Rolie and he has 2 mommies :)
As soon as he came to the barn he melted everyones heart with his teddy bear looks and sweet loving personality! We could not get enough of snuggling and
smooching that fuzzy face.
He fit in right away with another gelding named Ollie and they went to playing within minutes of meeting. They spend all day together playing now in between trail rides. On the trails he is a power house especially up the hills!
Rollie is starting to learn Natural Horsemanship and is very quick to learn. He really enjoys learning new things. We could not be happier to have this sweet little man to love and share many adventures to come :)
