I can still remember the day when we rescued Prancer at the auction. We were convinced that she was a 30-year-old mare! I can remember shuddering at the rider who yanked her and spurred her around the auction ring. It wasn't long after that we found out she was in fact a 3-year-old filly - and a sweet one at that!
That sure didn't stop me from riding her in our local Christmas parade back in 2010. She sure showed them! What a wonderful mare! And yes Sara... I am still jealous you got to have her instead of me, hehe.
As for Remy, he was a surrender who someone had rescued out of a bad situation. I remember bringing him into the rescue and thinking how much potential he had and how beautiful he was.
I remember when Sara adopted him how excited she was to get him home with Prancer and start riding him in her little round pen. What a fun-loving and super-handsome boy he is. He was always happy to have a job, but even happier just to spend his days playing.
Thank you Sara for giving them such a wonderful life!
