I know most people are not interested in 2 year old, unbroke Standardbreds, but these boys deserve a chance just like any other. They are sound, healthy and brimming with potential! Once gelded and given a bit more time to grow, these boys will make wonderful companions and riding partners.
Money is the largest of the three boys standing approx 14.3hh currently with lots of growing still to do! He has a very nice, athletic build and an intelligent eye. He spent a weekend at Hayburner Haven and was officially halter-broke thanks to Tara, but he is still very wary of people. He is not mean, just scared. Would be suitable for an experienced owner and would make a great project for the Summer!
Bryan stands approx 14.2hh currently. He is a very nicely built colt with a kind eye and lots of growing to do! He is a very quiet boy; not spooky and although he is a little shy, he is very personable and sweet. He is good with the other horses and a very respectful young man. He is halter-broke and we are working on leading and picking up his feet. He is absolutely soaking up the attention and now loves being brushed and petted.
"Many times, horses are just waiting for that chance to prove themselves. Not in the sense that they have something to prove, they are different from people in that regard. They are waiting for that window for us to be open enough to receive what they want to show us or what they are thinking or capable of, despite what we may have thought all along." - M. Bevilacqua
