She originally came to us in May 2013 as part of an SPCA seizure. She was adopted shortly after and was in an adoptive home for two years as a companion. Unfortunately, when they added another horse to the family, she became more dominant. Since her return, she has come leaps and bounds in her confidence, manners and training and has turned into a wonderful and solid partner.
Whisper stands approx 15.2hh and is a gorgeous and brilliant chestnut girl with a beautiful build, strong feet and no health issues. She is UTD on trimming and worming and is a nice mover and easy keeper. She has lovely ground manners and does it all; loads and hauls well, is easy to catch and handle, is good for the farrier, etc.
When Whisper initially arrived at the rescue, it had been years since she was last ridden. We took some time with her ground work and have gotten her going again. The video below was her first ride back under-saddle and she was wonderful! She was somewhat rusty, but definitely had some decent training and we have never met a horse who tries harder. She has a sure-footed gait and a jog as smooth as melted butter!
