We have been in constant contact with the previous owner who unfortunately was given very poor advice from someone she thought was a professional horse person. As it turns out, the bone chip is just fluid and while he is having issues in his hip and cannot be ridden, he moves around comfortably enough to live in pasture.
He is a really sweet old boy who has a lovely personality and is great to handle. Salty is currently out on our small pasture with two of our rescue mares and is low man on the totem pole.
As we have a full house right now, it is crucial that we get him into a new home as soon as possible where he can recover to full health and happiness.
