After her surgery, Adele was adopted on April 22, 2012 a couple months after her colic surgery and has been home with her adoptive mom since then. She has come a long way from the sickly, thin and haunted 19 year old mare that we picked up at the stockyard and is now the beautiful 20 years young lady we all knew was underneath all the hardship.
