Unfortunately, his adoption has fallen through and they only have two weeks to find him a new placement. We are unable to take him in as we are still quite full with our current herd, but we have offered to help them find him a home.
Nash has a strong, stout build with a substantial hip and hind end. Nash is a real gentleman to handle on the ground--he loves to be groomed and schmooze with head hugs. Nash enjoys trail rides and he is a steady and well-behaved ride and gets along well with the other horses. He sometimes does not like to get his feet wet but will do so with encouragement. Nash needs an experienced rider who has a degree of upper body strength as he can be quite eager at the canter--i.e.he needs a firm strong hold on his head,, When he is worked on a regular basis(ridden and occasionally lunged or turned out 3-4 times a week) he settles down with the regular work and is a calm, focused ride. Nash also loves to jump and is very good at it but he needs more consistent schooling and practise with his jumping endeavors. Nash is an overall handsome fellow . He would make a good family horse as he is gentle and kind with children, however he needs a rider who has experience or is taking regular riding lessons.
