The first and foremost thing that we are thankful for is not only the ability to do what we do, but also the strength and patience to be able to have spent the last 18 years rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming horses in need. Anyone in rescue (horses or otherwise) knows it is not an easy task and we are thankful that we are able to continue to help the horses who need it most.
The third and final thing that we are thankful for this year is that we are able to share our lives with these amazing animals. Every horse has their own unique story and all of them have had something to teach us and we are fortunate for the opportunity to continue to learn from them. When it comes to working with horses, you really do get as much as you give.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we hope you will all take a moment to hug your horse and let them know how thankful you are for them. I know we will.
