Gypsy done almost everything in her years from the little britches rodeo to children's birthday parties, so she would be good for kids or a beginner for lighter riding. She gets along with other horses, loads, hauls, etc.
When I worked with her this afternoon she stood quiet for tacking and mounting. She is a very patient older gal! She went beautifully under-saddle. She moves off the leg, gives to the bit and has some nice flexion, has a lovely walk/trot/canter, etc.
We did a couple laps in the big ring and then went on a little ride down the back of the property on our own and she did great.
She's still got some go to her, but is very sensible and easy to handle. Just a sweet little girl who was very excited to have a job. I personally loved riding her and thought she was a lot of fun. She is going to make someone a great older buddy!
Gypsy is located in Maple Ridge and her adoption fee is by donation. We are looking for a light-riding home for her. She would be suitable for beginners and also children as she is a very gentle and patient girl.
