              ADOPTION FEE: $500

She is quite sweet on the ground. She loaded and unloaded great in the dark and is super sweet. She gets along well with the other horses and seems to be a nice all around girl.  She is broke to drive and green-broke under-saddle. She doesn't quite know how to go forward, but she can back and understands how to move left and right. She is a real sweet girl.

She is by by Austin Carr and Bet a Buck Bets. I have her papers.  She is a very sweet, refined thing (built similar to Jane and Cupid). She is easy to handle and seems quite friendly. She loaded and unloaded great in the dark last night and is getting along well with the other horses. She was raced and is broke to drive.

She is green-broke and has no problem with a riders weight and is well-balanced. She understands rein aids and seems to get the hang of going forward. She is a real sweet, easy lady.

SUITABILITY: Trail, Western Pleasure, Reining, Barrels, Hunter/Jumper
              ADOPTION FEE: $500

He is not registered, but his dam is Sterling Flo Jo and his sire is Fire on Bug. He is an absolute sweetheart. He is super easy going and quiet. He loaded, leads and halters well. He is good with the other horses and good with the farrier.

He is not yet broke to ride, but has had a saddle on. He will need corrective shoeing, but with a good farrier, can be a sound pleasure horse.

He was easy easy easy, great on trails, loaded, tied, great for a beginner. He is a bit thin, but is sound. Picked him up from the auction and took him straight to trails. Very calm and quiet and was a star for our volunteer, Amanda, who had never ridden on the trails or bareback.

SUITABILITY: Trail, Western or English Pleasure
              ADOPTION FEE: $500

She loaded and trailered easily, was great on the lead and seemed polite on the ground. She is quiet, calm and polite - not your "typical Arab".

She is sensible under-saddle, but can be a little nervous. She has been ridden in the ring and on the trails and would make a great pleasure mount. She would suit a confident beginner/intermediate rider as she can be a little testy, but otherwise, a good ride and very comfortable trot too!

They are both green halter broke and getting the hang of leading. They really are fabulous boys! Sweet, friendly, curious, quiet and polite. They are both sound with good feet and clean legs. Whoever adopts will be getting a very special gem(s).

Here is a video of them trotting around: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VqlL6XsJfdc

                Out On Trial

These are the horses at J&M Acres Horse Rescue who are currently on a two-week trial at a new home.

Every new adopter gets two weeks to determine if the horse is a good fit with their life and skills.

After two weeks, new adopters have the option to keep the horse or send it back to us to find a more suitable home.
