Mercedes
I obtained my little adoptee from J&M Acres at the end of the very wet November of 2009, when she was approximately two and a half years old.

She settled in very quickly and has lived here now for eleven months, quickly becoming a significant member of my little herd.

She has no difficulty in expressing her opinion of her place in the world as a little Princess, as she shows off her floating Arabian paces in the pasture. She is very intelligent, willing to please and accepting of consistent handling, although with her high spirits she likes to point out that she too has ideas about what she should be doing during our preliminary ground work! She has grown and matured and will be ready, I hope, to become a beautiful little riding horse in Spring 2011. Blood bay with four white socks and a white blaze she is a real pleasure to behold. I call her my little red Mercedes. I am so glad that Julie did not allow this one to go for slaughter. |
