J&M Acres Horse Rescue

We are an all-breed private rescue located in Maple Ridge, BC that began in 1995 by the owner and operator, Julie Macmillan, after she rescued a horse at auction, which was later dubbed "Lucky" by the people who donated towards his purchase price. Since then, J&M Acres has helped to rescue and re-home over 600 horses. 

Our mission is to get as many horses off the meat truck and into good homes as we can.
