Adorable little Dusty...
We picked her up on a cold pouring raining night at the end of April 2010 at Julies place, when we went and looked at her I thought she was perfect for my friends 12 year old daughter who has ADHD. We took her out on the road for a walk and she did not flinch at the traffic or the dog that came running out to sniff her all over. We got her back to my place and put her in her stall and she was a perfect little girl. She has adjusted very well at my place, she is a gentle little pony that loves to be brushed and loved, she blended in right away and there was no troubles with her making herself right at home. She is now part of the stable family. It didnt take her long to know the routine and where her stall and paddock was, if we let her go she goes all by herself to her stall, and she doesnt hesitate to let u know if u forgot to put the grain in there. She is a loved member of the barn by all that meet her. Her eyesight was worse off than first thought but that does not effect her in any way shape or for, sometime she is unsure but with a kind gentle manner she is trusting of everything that we to to and with her, she is a pure joy to have around. |
