This agreement is put in place to protect our horses at their future homes and prevent the sale of the animal to another party, auction or slaughter. Most of the animals that enter our care were rescued from the horrible fate of the slaughter house and we want to ensure they do not end up in that position ever again.
If you want to adopt a horse, here is how to make it happen:
4. The last step is to arrange for transport. We are able to make local deliveries to adopters within the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley of BC only. We do adopt horses out internationally as well as cross-country, but you are responsible for arranging and paying for transport. Here are some trusted haulers you can contact for a quote or check out our forum for upcoming hauls and dates. |
For first time horse owners, we can assist with farriers, food dealers, vets, boarding facilities and any other questions you might have.
