This agreement is put in place to protect our horses at their future homes and prevent the sale of the animal to another party, auction or slaughter. Most of the animals that enter our care were rescued from the horrible fate of the slaughter house and we want to ensure they do not end up in that position ever again.

If you want to adopt a horse, here is how to make it happen:
              1. Complete our adoption application and agreement below (or click here to download a copy to send via e-mail). If you have a specific horse in mind, please note their name. Otherwise, leave that section blank and we will let you know which of our equines might be a good fit.
              2. Once you are approved, we will work to schedule an appointment with you if possible.
              3. If you wish to move forward with the adoption after the appointment (or without one), we will finalize the  agreement. It will need to be signed and dated before that horse can be moved off of the property.
              • If you are under 18 years of age, your parent/guardian will also be responsible for reviewing the adoption agreement and co-signing for the adoption and care of the animal.
              • If you are like some of our many adopters who adopt and transport a horse sight-unseen, please sign and date the final copy of the adoption agreement, scan it and e-mail a copy to us.

              4. The last step is to arrange for transport. We are able to make local deliveries to adopters within the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley of BC only. We do adopt horses out internationally as well as cross-country, but you are responsible for arranging and paying for transport. Here are some trusted haulers you can contact for a quote or check out our forum for upcoming hauls and dates.
