Re-Adopted: December 2, 2014
Roulette made it to her new home safe and sound and is fitting in great already and was so calm about the move. Her adopter says she is just "so sweet"! She is now living with J&M Acres graduate Nikita and the two of them are getting along great together and with their other barn mates.
We are so glad to hear she is already so well loved in her new home and we can't wait to watch her progress.
RIDER LEVEL: Intermediate
SUITABILITY: Western Pleasure, Trails
LOCATION: Langley, BC
ADOPTION FEE: $500
Many of you will remember gorgeous Roulette from our updates over the last three years. Some of you may also recall that we had her posted as looking for a new home for a little while last year, but then her adopters opted to keep with her and continue working with her.
However, they have found that Roulette is just not suited for what they are looking to do and so they think that the best decision would be to find her a home with a different lifestyle for her.
Her daughter rides Dressage and Roulette is quite ring-sour and much prefers going out on the trails and hitting up the parks. Her adopters would like to find her a new home that wants a trail/pleasure riding horse. Roulette was ridden regularly this Spring/Summer and has lots of under-saddle time, though she is still a little green.
The following is Roulette's bio as per her adopters:
We are looking to re-home our beautiful 8 year old mare by the end of September. We do not kld mare by the end of September. We do not know what her breeding is but she has a medium build and is 14.3hh. She needs a calm, loving, stable home (no pun intended) with patience and compassion. She needs a intermediate to"0who wants to just ride Western and do lots of trail riding. She has been trained mostly English but doesn't enjoy too much ring riding (my daughter rides Dressage). This mare does like to have a job to do. She is best suited for the trails and LOVES to go to the parks and will go through Water no problem. She has extremely good ground manners. She is great with the farrier (great feet too!), baths, etc. She is also UTD on shots, de-worming and trims. I have never done it but I really think she would be a great competitive trail horse or be good at Twisted Terrain once you are connected together.
