This is Rhea, the 24 y/o Arabian mare we rescued at the last auction. She was adopted on the ride home from the sale by a family whose daughter used to take lessons on her.

According to the family, Rhea is doing great and seems to be getting along with their other horse, Amika, just fine. So far, Rhea has very good manners and a great disposition. Both of their children, Madyson (9) and Devyn (6) have ridden her and have quite enjoyed her. All Devyn wants to do is trot and Mady wants to do technical.

This picture is from the Mission Horse Club games day on Sunday where they took both Rhea and their other mare. Their daughter Madyson rode Rhea and it looks like they had a lot of fun.

Her ease of disposition is great to teach their other horse some manners and the family says she is a good addition to the stable.

Ohmygod!!! I swear that is the exact same horse from my old barn!! When I used to Volunteer there, They would make me go out and catch her for the younger riders. She sure hated me ^-^ I think It was because I pulled her away from her feed once. Lol. Such a pretty and sweet horse though ^-^ I honestly don't know why my old barn gave her up, though...
