Eva is a 9 y/o, 16.2hh chestnut Thoroughbred mare. Not registered and never raced. She was bred by a trainer in the Lower Mainland who developed her for showing purposes before her current owner bought her. Has competed successfully up to the 3'6" jumper division last summer and has won the CET Mini Medal (3'3") just last year.

Her injury is an upper suspensory ligament tear in her right hind leg and she had surgery in September and has also had her hocks injected to help speed up the rehab. She is currently being walked and trotted under saddle and will continue with her progression until July or August when she should be good to go for pleasure work and possibly limited jumping of small fences.

Adele is an amazing mare who survived a $12,000 colic surgery and lives to tell the tale! She has since been adopted with most of her after-surgery-care complete and she is still recovering well at home.

Adele is a sweet girl who is easy to handle, loads and unloads and gets along well with the other horses. She needs some TLC, but she appears otherwise sound and healthy. She is well-broke and an easy, easy, easy girl. She would be fine for a beginner rider and suited for trails or pleasure riding a couple times a week once she finishes filling in. 

Adele had to go in for major colic surgery, which she is recovering nicely from, but she does need four weeks stall rest and four to six weeks in a small paddock. She is currently in a foster home, but still available for adoption.

Got a message from someone who used to own Max for four years. Needless to say, she adopted him back and he is now with them and will be living out the rest of his days under their watchful eye.

Max is an is an 11 year old Warmblood x gelding around 16.2hh. He is UTD with his worming, teeth, etc.He has been worked regularly and has done some showing and jumping, even had a month of Dressage training this year. He would be good for an intermediate rider to finish off. He is coming in as he is too much horse for his current owner (no buck/bolt/rear) and he is also being beaten up by the other horse.

MC is a 16hh, approx. 2 y/o Thoroughbred mare. No brand or tattoo. She is a sweet young filly though! Good legs and conformation. Likely made it to race training or time trials, but not fast enough for the actual track.

She was a little nervous, but I don't blame her. Loaded well and was very polite. Got along with the other horses over the fence. She has lovely movement as she also trotted around her new pen. She screams hunter/jumper with that movement, conformation and size! 

Note: Named her after a lovely lady, Mandy Cragg, who donated a ton of stuff to the Abbotsford tack booth we hosted.

Whisper has been officially adopted! She has already made great progress at home in bonding with her new Mom and her adoptee loves her to bits ♥ She has lots of plans for working with her and we cannot wait to see them play out.

She is very light and responsive on the bit and immediately dropped her nose and flexed. She moved off my leg fairly well and backed immediately and without hesitation. Would be great for an intermediate rider.

She is a little herd-bound and nervous. Despite this, generally quiet and polite on the ground and is easy to handle, halter, lead, catch, etc. She has a lot of potential under-saddle and as a friend, but will need a more experienced handler and a home that is able and willing to work with her on her. 

The family who adopted her has been working with her, but she is too much for the daughter whom she was intended for and too small for the father who would otherwise love to keep her. We feel she would be best suited to a more experienced rider/handler. She is UTD on shots, farrier and worming.

Cindy noted that "Lilly travelled home via ferry and all like a little lady. Nickered a few times but nothing naughty. She's a gem to lead and got a little gussied up this evening. Such a cuddler. My mom is totally in love with her. So rest assured I am positive that we are her forever home :)"

We almost got teary watching her leave yesterday, but this has absolutely made our month to know that after a long time waiting, Lilly finally has a home that will love and work with her in the way she deserves.

Lilly was started by a previous owner and she knew how to back up and move off of the leg. She has since been refreshed and restarted and is going well under-saddle. Would do great with an intermediate rider.

She has a great mind and is very intelligent and active. Her personality along with being clean-legged and sound makes her a great hunter/jumper or dressage prospect. She is also quick and may be a good candidate for barrels.

Easy The Best is a 15.2hh, 2007 Standardbred gelding born 06/01/2007 in Cloverdale. He is by Austin Carr and out of Hanover Star N. He is a pacer who had 10 starts with career earnings of $4,638. His last start was 01/13/2012. 

He is a sweet boy and very handsome too! He was easy to halter and led and loaded well. He was polite with the other horses. He is sound and has a lovely trot, which he showed off when we put him in his big paddock tonight. Currently broke to drive.

Firefly is a very sweet thing. She is a little more shy and cautious then the other new arrivals, but is already starting to come along. She loaded and unloaded well, is easy to handle and she gets along well with the other horses. She is broke to drive.

Belle Princess is a 19 year old, 15hh, Standardbred mare. Born in Quebec and bought by a farm in Langley where she raced for 5 years winning over $60,000. No vices, gets along well with other horses. She has not been ridden for many years due to a fall she had where she hurt her hip. Apparently, many vet calls and massage therapy did not help, so she is companion only. Her adoptee said she is not in any pain and gets around not too bad. She is a great horse with a very gentle nature. 

She was adopted from us approx. 7 years ago, but the family's farm has sold and they cannot take her with them. The new tenants will let her stay there for a limited time, so we're hoping to help her find a new home before she has to be surrendered.

Katie is a coming 23 y/o Thoroughbred mare. She is registered as "J.R. Will". Foaled April 8, 1989 in Alberta and is unraced. She is by Canadian Will and out of Donola. She has been ridden regularly by the previous owners teenage daughter including roads and trails. She would suit a beginner rider. 

When I first got her we went for long gallops and went over jumps. Now I only use her as a safe trail riding horse. She is 100% bombproof. We've come across trains, bears, and scary looking trucks. She doesn't even pay any mind to it. She is the kinda horse you can just walk, let go of the reins, and relax. She deserves a family who will consider her age and be careful with her.
