He is now happy as a clam in his new home. His new mom loves him and has found out some things about him since she's had him, such as the fact he is an Arabian x Saddlebred, not Paint.
He is currently being taught all of his ground-work and will start training under-saddle this summer!

This big gorgeous boy is now at his new home just over the border, where he is loved and adored by his new Mom and the rest of the family.
His new Mom says that he is awesome and that he seems happy. Her young daughter even borrowed a bunch of books from the library about horses because she wants to help take care of him.
They have been working to turn him into a nice Western pleasure gelding and he has been doing great! He seems to enjoy the slower pace and all is well with his ankle.
It turns out, his foot issue (the reason why he was dumped and almost killed) was simply due to an abscess that hadn't come through yet. Now that that has cleared up, he has been perfectly sound. Thank you Kirsten for giving him the chance he deserved!

She is now in a new, loving home and has a new best friend named Scotty! She is going to start saddle-training over the summer and fall now that she has gained the weight she needed.
